Shawn Moody
Instructor

Shawn is a recently retired law enforcement officer after nearly 28 years of service. During his career, he was the firearms/range coordinator for his respective agency for several years.

Shawn was a certified instructor in semi-automatic handguns, shotguns and urban rifle platforms. Shawn also carries Instructor Trainer certifications in O.C. chemical sprays, Baton, TASER and BolaWrap platforms. He also carries instructor certifications in Verbal Judo, various arrest control platforms, edged weapon techniques, Sudden Custody Death Syndrome and Simunitions.

Shawn has also had the distinct privilege of sitting on one of the Subject Matter Expert committees for the Colorado Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) board for numerous years and is a court recognized expert in Use of Force and TASER technology.

When not spending time with his lovely wife, two sons or four dogs, Shawn is an avid bowhunter.

Joe Ramirez
Instructor

Joe is a former US Marine and an active duty Law Enforcement Officer with over 26 years of service. During his career, he was a firearm/range instructor for his respective agency. He holds a Colorado P.O.S.T. Firearms Instructor certification. Currently, Mr. Ramirez is the firearm instructor for one of the Special Response Teams for his agency.

Joe is a certified instructor in handgun, shotgun, and urban rifle platforms. He also holds a certification from Smith & Wesson and is known as an M&P master armorer. He is attested as a SWAT operator, providing Tactics and IARD training. Recently, Joe completed intensive training in International Airport Law Enforcement and Armed Security.

Joe has been helping the local communities and promoting firearm safety awareness through free presentations to the public.

During his downtime, Joe enjoys Tennis, Outdoor Activities, and Traveling.

Micah Faustin
Instructor

Micah was with The United States Special Operations Command.

Upon concluding his service in Special Operations, Micah transitioned into consulting and advising focusing his expertise on leadership and tactical development. Leveraging his extensive background he shares invaluable insights with individuals and organizations aspiring to elevate their leadership capabilities and tactical proficiency.

Micah’s training programs have gained notoriety for their pragmatic approach, placing a strong emphasis on real-world scenarios and fostering the development of decision-making skills under pressure. His commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practical application makes his group a sought-after consultant in the dynamic field of leadership and tactical development.
