210 INTRO TO CARBINE
PRE-REQ: INTRO RANGE SAFETY
About
This course is for the new and even first-time shooter, or any level of shooter wanting a refresher on the basics. This course is designed for the AR-15/M4 platform, however the venerable AK-47 is welcome.
YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

25 Yard Zero
-
Discussing Holdover or Mechanical Off-Set
-
Marksmanship Fundamentals (grip, stance, etc.)
-
Proper Reloading Techniques
-
Stoppage Clearance/Immediate Action Drills (Level 1 & 2)
-
*Homework*
MATERIALS NEEDED
-
Serviceable Carbine – AR-15/M4, SCAR or AK-47 pattern
-
200 rounds of ammunition (Must be factory frangible, available for purchase here)
-
3 magazines and method of carry
-
Sturdy nylon or leather belt (Plate carriers and ‘battle belts’ allowed)
-
Quality Kydex or leather holster OWB (strong-side only)
-
Closed-toe shoes, t-shirt minimum and baseball-style hat
-
Eye protection (clear or yellow only)
-
Ear protection (must be electronic for insurance purposes)
-
Knee and/or Elbow pads recommended
Duration: Up to 4 hours
Rules
- Must be 100% sober. Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited. We have the right to deny service to anyone believed to be under the influence
- Must not be mentally or physically prohibitive
- Must be at least 12 years of age. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times
- Shooter must have a valid government issued photo ID
- All reservations are non refundable but are fully transferable for up to one year from the reservation date
- Waiver must be completed before experience takes place
