On this solemn day of September 11, 2025, we pause to honor the memory of the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the tragic terrorist attacks of 2001. We extend our heartfelt prayers to the families, friends, and communities forever changed by that day.
We are also deeply saddened by the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, a passionate voice for many, taken from us in a senseless act of violence at Utah Valley University. Our thoughts are with his wife, Erika, their two young children, and all who knew and admired him. His dedication to engaging in open dialogue and inspiring young Americans will leave a lasting legacy.
In these moments of grief, we are reminded of the fragility of life and the unpredictable nature of our current political climate.
