Well, well, well… Congress just introduced a bill that could send Colorado’s ridiculous mag ban straight to the dumpster where it belongs.

H.R. 4546 – The FIRE Act says governments can’t restrict magazine capacity—period. No more 15-round “feel-good” limits. No more pretending your rifle suddenly becomes dangerous at round sixteen. If it passes, the Colorado mag ban is toast.

For years, our state’s politicians have acted like they’re saving the world by forcing you to reload more often. Reality check: criminals never cared, and law-abiding gun owners got stuck with a neutered gear list.

The FIRE Act fixes that. And when it does, you can finally stop hiding your freedom seeds like contraband and run your mags the way God, Gaston Glock, and Eugene Stoner intended.

–Introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Rep. Tony Wied (R‑WI-8) on July 17, 2025.
-The bill has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee, and no further actions (like hearings, markups, or votes) have been recorded.
-At present, its official status remains “Introduced“.
