This course is designed for the new shooter and first time gun owner. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of safe firearm handling, marksmanship and manipulation. Furthermore, you will build draw and presentation skills along with safely reholstering technique. You will gain confidence in your own abilities and be prepared for the next course: Tactical Handgun. This course is considered the absolute minimum training after your concealed handgun class.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Serviceable semi auto pistol (.380, .40, .45, .357 sig or 9mm)

100 rounds of ammunition (Must be factory frangible, available for purchase here)

Kydex or Leather Holster OWB (Strong Side only)

Sturdy Nylon or Leather Belt (No Battle Belts)

Closed toe shoes, T Shirt minimum and baseball style hat

Eye protection (Clear and Yellow Only)

Duration: Up to 4 hours
Rules
- Must be 100% sober. Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited. We have the right to deny service to anyone believed to be under the influence
- Must not be mentally or physically prohibitive
- Must be at least 12 years of age. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times
- Shooter must have a valid government issued photo ID
- All reservations are non refundable but are fully transferable for up to one year from the reservation date
